Pallas Athene
To them our world is paradise; for us their world is Utopia. A black hole separating two worlds’, a gateway to another realm. The bridge for souls to descend to Zion
A drug fuelled journey to the heart of our dreams.

Chapter I
It all began somewhere around the coast of Mexico on the edge of the sea when the drugs began to have an effect. I remember hearing a voice singing from a distance, as my feet sank deeper and deeper into the watery sand her voice began to roar louder. The water began to get deeper but the music still got louder; the sky was clear blue, almost as though the ocean was above us. A voice suddenly woke me from the trance like a slap across the face: “Holy Shit! What are you doing mate?” I paused for a second. Staring up at the cloudless sky hoping to return back to nirvana. I turned my head in disappointment “Never mind Pete, the drugs have departed”, the bastard would never believe me if i told him. It’s happened to me before, hearing mysterious voices. To put it into psychological terms I am one fucked up guy.
It was that time when both the hands of a clock had reached its hard on, It was noon; we had over a week to reach Cuba. As we got closer to the destination we questioned our state of mind. There was the inevitability that there was no going back and no time to be sober. After the awkward silence had passed we gathered our twisted selves off the beach and into the spacey rented 1964 VW camper van. The dead scene obligated me to roll up a joint and divert into a casual conversation. The druggy sitting beside me was called Peter, pretentious Pete. PP for short; you may be wondering why PP and me were travelling to Cuba. Well our full time choice of profession was not a very common one I think the job title is known as junkie to the common folk however the perception we had of ourselves was very different. We were the dream seekers. The van was full of mind-expanding drugs, highs and lows. We saw ourselves as scientists on the road experimenting. Little did we know that the drug waiting for us in Cuba, was going to change our lives forever and we had no idea.
